Alexandria - Funeral service for Kimberly G. Holland, 48, will be held at 3 p.m., on Friday, November 24, 2017, at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Holland will be officiating. A private burial will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service. Mrs. Holland went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 20, 2017. Mrs. Holland was born on October 31, 1969 and was a lifelong resident of Alexandria. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Mark Holland; two daughters, Chasity (Christy) Johns and Amber (Josh) Womack; five grandchildren, Ethan, Audrey, Kinsley, Emersyn and Hudsen; parents, Billy (Brenda) Haynes and Brenda (Richard) Leahey; one brother, Billy Haynes and his family; one sister, Tonya Curvin and her family; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Chance Heath, Cain Heath, Ethan Womack, Josh Womack, Dryake Haynes and Shane Helms. Honorary pallbearer will be Andy Catlett. Mrs. Holland was an avid hunter and she loved to fish and spend time outdoors. All of her family and friends are thankful to God for her life and the impact she made on everyone that she met. Mrs. Holland worked at AHS Multi-Disabled Unit, Anniston Army Depot, Honda and then later, she owned her own business: Ohatchee Barber and Styles. To know Mrs. Holland was to absolutely lover her. She was a wonderful wife and best friend to her husband Mark and an incredible mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Mrs. Holland will be greatly missed.
