Anniston - A graveside service for Mrs. Virginia “Ginger” Craig, 80, will be held in Anniston Memorial Gardens on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. Burial will immediately follow the service. Ginger went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Ginger was born in Big Spring, Texas on August 3, 1937 to Dick and Vera Todd. Ginger graduated from Big Spring High School in Texas. She moved to West Chester, Pennsylvania as a new bride, in August 1955. Ginger lived in West Chester until 1966 when she and her spouse, Ray, moved to Milford, Connecticut for two years. They returned to West Chester for 17 years before finally moving to Anniston, where her husband retired in 1985. Ginger was a member of Anniston Bible Church, where she served on the missions team. She trusted Christ as her Savior at the age of 10 and served him with all of her heart throughout her life. Ginger is survived by her daughter, Donna “Dondi” Pullen and her husband, Barry of Atlanta, Georgia; her son, Larry Craig and his wife, Cathy of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Anna and David Craig of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and one sister, Dixie Blackwell and her husband, Virgil of Iowa Park, Texas. Ginger was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Raymond L. “Ray” Craig.
